And now we all have become a part of this whole huge social gathering circle. But with that we have also inevitably become vulnerable to cyber attacks.

The cyber crimes have surged up to an alarming rate. And the rise in it is being fuelled by ignorance. How many of us have been victims of cyber theft, abuse or fraud?

This is a pressing global problem and it needs immediate attention. It’s high time and we all need to be safe netizens.

IMG_2572In 21st century, the relationship between China and the U.S. has become the key of global economy and co-dependent on each other significantly for business reason, said Stephen Roach, Senior Fellow from Yale University during his talk at Asia Society Hong Kong on April 11.

“China and the U.S have the most important bilateral relation in the world because of economic security. The way I try to do in this book is the way in which they depend on another’s economic crowds and enhance the construct of co-dependency,” he said.

HK is facing 9,000 tones food waste everyday: FOE

Food Waste has becomes a crucial issue in Hong Kong, government disposing 9,000 tones food waste every day by way of incinerating as well as landfill according to the report of Friends of the Earth-HK (FOE).

FOE started the “Reduce waste 6,000 tones” campaign with ten years project plan from now. The campaign’s aim is to reduce future waste by 6,000 tons per day. As a result, only about 3,000 tones will have to be disposed such as incineration. Food waste produced per capital in Hong Kong exceeds that of Korea by 56 percent and Taiwan by 38 percentaccording to FOE’s report.

HONG KONG -The article titled “A Referendum in Rakhine State?” appeared on social media “Facebook” on March 20 and stoked the anger of Myanmar people, especially Rakhine people who are the natives of Rakhine State, situated on the west part of Union of Myanmar sharing borders with Bangladesh and India.

 

Recent years, the conflict between Rakhine people and Rohingya, the people of Bengladesh origin immigrating illegally to other countries for economic refuge, was triggered by a rape case; a Rakhine girl was raped by three Rohingya in Rakhine state. As an act of retaliation n, ten Islamic leaders were killed by a mob at check point of Rakhine State in June, 2012.
